Upcoming Classes

Argument!

with Jordan Pettle

April 15 to May 27 | $180 plus HST

Using the work of George Bernard Shaw as a foundation, Argument! With Jordan Pettle is a seven week intensive that explores how language becomes action on stage. Under the guidance of exclaimed actor, Jordan Pettle (Soulpepper, Canadian Stage, Tarragon) actors will develop the dexterous, thinking, verbal precision, active, listening, and persuasive pursuit, the great dramatic texts demand.

Participants will work in every class, including five in studio group sessions, and two private coaching sessions. With content inspired by the intellectual and emotional combat of Shaw, the class will interpret both classical and contemporary scenes that require high conflict, Sharpe debate, verbal, rigor, and urgent need.

The Bard's Bootcamp: A Shakespeare Intensive

with Evan Buliung

“This class was an awesome opportunity to spend two days working with Evan, who's had decades of experience performing at some of the most exciting theatres across the country. B Street's rehearsal space was perfect for our class of 12 artists, and having access to the separate green room and kitchenette was really great for spreading out during breakout sessions.”
