B Street Collaborative, in collaboration with The Canadian Art Foundation, is thrilled to be supporting a brand new residency with Gasworks for visual artists based in Canada!

The residency is for an emerging or mid-career artist based in Canada. The eleven-week, fully-funded residency will take place at Gasworks in London, England from July 7 to September 22, 2026.

Gasworks is an award-winning, non-profit arts organization based in south London. Working at the intersection of UK and international contemporary art, they have supported more than 600 artists from over 80 countries since their founding in 1994.

Gasworks’ residencies programme supports professional development, cultural exchange, and artistic experimentation. They host up to 20 residencies each year, bringing artists from all over the world to London. All residencies are self-led, non-prescriptive, and process-based; they are about enabling artists to research and develop new work, engage with the city, and build their networks.
